Title: From Trodden Grapes
Author: [archiveofourown.org profile] killanine
Rating: G
Word Count: 8,662
Summary: Bucky's just a mildly successful novelist, trying not to die from writer's block. Then all of a sudden there's this handsome blond man named Steve, and his adorable kid. Against his better instincts, Bucky gets a crush. But this guy has a kid, and probably a wife and a house with a white picket fence, too. Bucky resigns himself to a lifetime of hopeless pining.
But then Steve keeps inviting Bucky to these hangouts that seem suspiciously like dates, and Bucky is super confused.

Title: 21st Century Supergrandpas
Author: stevergrsno (noxlunate)
Rating: T
Word Count: 5,234
Summary: Supergrandpas knit, adopt animals, attend the therapy they need, are kind of assholes and ultimately just really love each other.

-
“We couldn’t have animals Before.” Steve says, eyes wide and innocent as he settles his chin between Missy’s shoulders, his arms wrapped around her giant fluffy body where she’s seated up on the couch next to him. Bucky knows the game Steve is playing, and he’s more than willing to play along.

“Yeah, Stevie here had horrible allergies.” Bucky contributes, patting at Steve’s shoulder in a faux consoling gesture. “Couldn’t get near someone who’d been around a fuzzy animal, let alone the animal itself. Plus Hydra definitely never let me have a pet.” He widens his eyes and looks sad for dramatic effect.

Title: A Midsummer Knight's Dream
Author: [archiveofourown.org profile] cobaltmoony, [archiveofourown.org profile] GoldBlooded
Rating: E
Word Count: 29,050
Summary: Sir Steven, knight, alpha, and baron of a small countryside estate, receives an invitation to a Royal Tournament: It’s a winner-take-all competition, and the prize? The hand of Prince James, the kingdom’s most eligible omega, in marriage.

It seems like a lifetime ago that young Steven left the palace – and his best pal, the prince - to attend to his familial duties. Since that time, he’s dreamed of reclaiming his friendship with the prince; if not as a companion, then perhaps as a member of the prince’s guard.

Prince James, royal, omega, and heir to the throne is tired of being reduced to his designation and pressured into an arranged marriage like a political pawn. He devises the tournament as a means to an end: winner claims his hand in marriage, but if he wins? He’ll get to claim his own future.

Let the tournament begin...

Title: Coming Home For Christmas
Author: [archiveofourown.org profile] Chiyume
Rating: E
Word Count: 118,279
Summary: Steve Rogers is a good man. His friends have told him so on numerous occasions, but this might actually be more bordering on "stupid" rather than "kind".
Because what else would you describe the act of inviting a complete stranger - and thief - into your home over the Holidays?
Steve isn't quite sure what to call it himself, but fact is that when it comes to the case of Bucky Barnes, Steve's actually pretty okay with being referred to as an idiot, as long as it keep the other man safe.
And to Steve's defence, it had all started out with such good intentions...

Title: A Cottage Christmas
Author: [archiveofourown.org profile] awesomecherry
Rating: E
Word Count: 17,238
Summary: Christmas should be in the air, there should be sleigh bells ringing and decorations plastered everywhere, Steve should be dragging Bucky through the nearest Christmas tree farm, and worrying about which tree will fit in their tiny Brooklyn apartment, and what huge monstrosity Stark will insist they buy for their spacious floor in Avenger’s Tower.

Instead, what’s in the air is apparently enough pollen to have Steve wheezing for breath with every step, the constant ringing of sleigh bells is giving Bucky a migraine, and Steve doesn’t have to worry about buying a tree because apparently he’s allergic to them.

Steve snorts when he hears the song The 12 Days of Christmas, and immediately starts hacking up a lung, more like the 12 days of hell.

Title: Laughter Lines
Author: [archiveofourown.org profile] gammadolphin
Rating: M
Word Count: 100,249
Summary: Bucky Barnes is a rising Hollywood star with a tragic past and a reputation for driving his bodyguards away. Steve Rogers is a veteran with the same tragic past and the need to get back out in the world. The two of them have been estranged since they were teenagers, so when Steve joins SHIELD as a bodyguard, he is less than thrilled when he finds out that Bucky is his first assignment. But how bad can it be? They're both professional adults, right?

Wrong.

Title: Close Your Eyes and Dream
Author: [archiveofourown.org profile] die_traumerei
Rating: M
Word Count: 28,289
Summary: Steve Rogers hooks up with this really hot mer-guy for a one-night stand. It's all pretty much downhill falling in love and being happy from there.

(An AU with Steve Rogers as we know, love, and occasionally sigh in frustration at him, but a modern, merman Bucky Barnes.)

Title: After The Bombs
Author: [archiveofourown.org profile] fedzgurl
Rating: T
Word Count: 218,953
Summary:
Bucky Barnes never fell off of the train in the Alps. Steve Rogers didn't have to wake up alone in the future. Things aren't exactly perfect as they try to come to terms with a completely different future and work out the feelings that they've had for each other for decades, but at least they get to figure it out together. (The MCU re-imagined with Bucky as an original Avenger)

Title: The one where Bucky Barnes does not end up as a spinster
Author: [archiveofourown.org profile] malixa
Rating: T
Word Count: 7,435
Summary: It takes him a second to realize that the light and fluttery feeling in his chest is excitement. It’s been a long time since he’s felt like this, like he’s on the cusp of something good – something that isn’t just another adrenaline-fuelled mission but a real, genuine normal experience.

It's Bucky's fist date since the loss of his arm and getting honorably discharged. It does not go anything like expected.

Title: To the Marrow of Our Bones
Author: [archiveofourown.org profile] Sproings
Rating: M
Word Count: 22,614
Summary: "I'm Grant," the guy said shyly. He had jet black hair with streaks of bright blue that brought out his eyes, even from behind his thick rimmed glasses. "I'm Captain America's assistant."

"Am I supposed to be meeting Captain America today? Because I am not prepared for that," Bucky said. He tried to play it off as a joke, but seriously, he would have found something nicer to wear if he'd known he was going to meet a national icon.

"Uh, it's only me," Grant said, biting his lip a little, just enough to show off the bright gold of his lip ring, and Bucky kinda wanted to help out with the whole biting thing, because Grant's lips were lush and pink and very biteable looking.

Author: [archiveofourown.org profile] LaughsAtThunder
Rating: E
Warnings: /others implied
Word Count: 31,785
Summary: The problem, Bucky thinks now that he has most of his memories back, is that his whole entire world has always revolved around Steve Rogers. Steve has been always been half of Bucky’s identity. Bucky Barnes, Steve Rogers’ best friend. Bucky Barnes, Steve Rogers’ wingman. Bucky Barnes, Steve Rogers’ teammate. And now, well, now Steve had other people to fill those positions. And of course, of course he’d always been a little bit in love with Steve. So when he overhears Steve telling Natasha that he’s finally found someone he’d like to date, someone with similar life experience, Bucky clings blindly to the hope that maybe, just maybe, Steve is talking about him.

Summary: “All memories to tell you the truth aren’t good.
But sometimes there were good times.
Love was good. I loved your crooked sleep
beside me and never dreamed afraid.

There should be stars for great wars
like ours. There ought to be awards
and plenty of champagne for the survivors.”

Title: Chase This Light
Author: [archiveofourown.org profile] leveragehunters
Rating: T
Word Count: 58,541
Summary: In the modern world, where the creatures of myth live side-by-secret-side with mundane humanity, Steve Rogers is one of the gifted humans who straddles the line between mythfolk and mundane, and he's never told anyone about the day he healed a dragon.

Living in the city in human form, Bucky's managed to shed most of dragon-kind's more unpleasant tendencies, but he's never quite managed to shake the tendency to get attached, especially not when it comes to the healer who saved his life.

When healers start going missing, Bucky will do anything to make sure Steve isn't one of them, something that would be a hell of a lot easier if Steve could stand the sight of him. Of course, Steve might feel differently if he knew Bucky was the dragon he'd saved all those years ago.
